Louise Jones, voice and accent coach specialising in accent and dialect work with actors and performers, for stage and screen.
Louise Jones is an outstanding Dialect and Voice Coach. On ITV drama, LITTLE BOY BLUE she worked with various cast members including Sinèad Keenan; Brìan F. O’Byrne; Faye McKeever and Sara Powell. Each of them commented on her calm and reassuring approach; her ability to adapt her techniques to suit the sensibilities of each individual actor; and her meticulous attention to detail. Sinèad and Brìan (both of Irish decent) and Faye (from Yorkshire) were masterfully guided through the intricacies of Liverpudlian speech patterns, whilst Sara (from London) was coached into delivering a flawless Scottish accent. The confidence Louise instilled, empowered these actors to focus on other nuances in their performance, and this was key to realising our ambition of an authentic recreation of a very specific world. Louise is at the top of her game, and I look forward to working with her on many more productions to come.
